The Apex Games are an extremely popular and widely broadcast violent competition that first took place around 2729 on the planet Outland. They span multiple worlds and attract numerous participants from different backgrounds, often driven by motives known only to themselves. The reward for perseverance is fame, money, and sometimes a lucrative career, but the fight for it all comes with the risk of serious injury or even death.

Apex Legends: The Board Game is a competitive miniatures board game based on the popular video game. During the game, teams of legendary heroes—warriors with unique skills and abilities—land on a gradually shrinking battlefield and fight for fame and glory in the Apex Games. Players use a variety of weapons and actions to work with their teammates to achieve the ultimate goal of eliminating their opponents and remaining the last group standing on the battlefield.

What is it all about?

The protagonists of Apex: Legends are legends – characters with unique abilities. Each of them also has their own deck of ability cards, so commanding them involves unique experiences and the need to develop a special strategy.

The battles are fought between teams with a specific number of legends (which varies depending on the game mode selected), which means that we either cooperate with other players to defeat the rest, or command more than one legend.

The game mode also determines the rules for supplying our characters and the objective of the battle. Some are based on eliminating opponents, others on capturing flags, and still others introduce asymmetry within or between teams.

The playing field is a three-dimensional board made up of modular objects and interactive terrain elements. This area is subject to change during the game: special figurines mark the boundaries of a ring that will gradually shrink, forcing players to interact.

As part of their activation, legends can move around, interact with their surroundings, and, of course, fight. The equipment and weapons we acquire can be tailored to the needs of our heroes, and the clashes are extremely exciting thanks to the shooting mechanics based on tactical positioning and the use of the strengths of the available equipment.
